Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Place apples and water in a 9x9 pan.
  2. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt into a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle over apples.
  5. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
