Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel and core apples then slice 1/4 thick and sprinkle each layer with cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
  3. Beat egg into beer then stir in flour mixture.
  4. Dip apple slices in batter then fry in deep fat until lightly browned.
  5. Drain in brown paper bag then place on paper towel lined plate or plate.
  6. Sift powdered sugar over each layer or drip in cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat.
