  1. Chop onion
  2. Combine cheese, mayo, herb seasoning and green onion.
  3. Mix thoroughly - this can be done ahead and refrigerated until close to time to bake.
  4. Spread mixture evenly on bread halves and sprinkle generously with Parmesan.
  5. Place bread on large cookie sheet.
  6. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  7. Remove bread from oven and slice into 2 pieces. If the loaf is a wide one, I slice it down the middle and then across.
  8. Serve immediately. Makes 24 pieces.
