Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees; grease baking sheet with butter flavored crisco; set aside.
  2. Cream 1/2 cup crisco, cream cheese and milk in medium bowl at medium speed until well blended.
  3. Beat in brown sugar.
  4. Beat in 1/2 cup preserves.
  5. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; mix into creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts.
  7. Drop 2 level measuring tablespoons of dough into a mound to form each cookie; place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes.
  9. Cool on baking sheet one minute; remove to cooling rack.
  10. Cool completely before frosting.
  11. Frosting:
  12. Combine confectioners sugar, 1/4 cup preserves and 1 tablespoon
  13. Crisco in small mixing bowl.
  14. Beat with electric mixer until well blended.
  15. Frost cooled cookies; Dont completely cover cookie.
  16. Sprinkle a touch of coconut on top of frosting.
