Amazingly Decadent Toffee Coffee Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp instant coffee (i used instant toffee flavored cappuccino)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup heath bar chips (or reasonable candy bar)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil. Spray with non-stick spray.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave margarine and chocolate on HIGH 1 minute or until chocolate is melted; Stir until smooth.
  5. With wire wisk, beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  6. Stir in flour, salt, instant coffee granules and cinnamon until blended.
  7. Stir in toffee chips.
  8. Spread into prepared pan
  9. Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. On wire rack, cool completely.
  11. Using foil, lift brownies onto cutting board.
  12. To serve, cut into squares and if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
