Ingredients:

  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • half a bowel green peas
  • 1/2 spoon garlic paste
  • jeera/ cumin seeds
  • salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes
  2. In a pan add oil, when hot add cumin seeds...
  3. When light brown add onions
  4. When golden brown add green peas
  5. Add garlic paste and green chillies
  6. Cook till light brown.... dont over cook...
  7. Add salt and red chilly powder....
  8. Now remove from heat and set aside to cool....
  9. Now add it all to the mashed to potatoes and mix well....
  10. Now make small, circular flat rolls wit your hands....
  11. Now add oil to pan again and stir fry each roll....
  12. Eat with ketchup or Indian chutney.... :)
  13. Alternate method - you can add the ingredients to the mashed potatoes without cooking them previously..
  14. *dont over cook the batter
  15. Garnish by sprinkling chopped coriander leaves and onion on the top.....
