Ingredients:

  • 2/3-cup ground acorn meal
  • 1/3- tsp salt
  • 3/4- cup milk

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Mix together egg and milk.
  3. Beat into dry ingredients forming a smooth batter.
  4. Add butter.
  5. Drop batter onto hot greased griddle.
  6. Bake, turning each cake when it is browned on underside and puffed and slightly set on top.
