  1. Preheat oven to 350 grease and flour two 9 cake layer pans,s et aside.
  2. Combine cake mix, oil, pudding mis, mountain dew, and 4 of the eggs of the large mixing bowl, turn batter into pans, bake for 25 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile combine remaining 2 eggs butter , sugar and crushed pineapple in a small saucepan and warm over low heat until thickened.
  4. Remove cake from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before removing to a wire rack. frost while still warm.
