Wake up Bacon With Coffee and Brown Sugar

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment or waxed paper and set a flat rack on top or use your silpat.
  3. Lay bacon strips on pan, overlapping slightly if needed.
  4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and brewed coffee, stirring just to blend to a paste.
  5. Brush top of strips with half of sugar mixture.
  6. Sprinkle top of strips evenly with ground coffee.
  7. Bake 15 minutes.
  8. Turn bacon over and brush with remaining sugar glaze.
  9. Bake until crispy, 10 minutes more.
