Triple Chocolate Biscotti

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 12 oz tempered chocolate

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together and combine with egg mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Shape dough into 6 long loaves and brush each with beaten egg yolk.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove loaves and let cool completely.
  9. Cut loaves diagonally into 1 pieces.
  10. Place pieces on baking sheet cut side down.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  12. Turn pieces over and cook 10 minutes or until well cooked.
  13. Remove biscotti from baking sheet and cool on rack.
  14. Dip tops of biscotti in tempered chocolate.
