Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. spray lightly the inside of a 9x9x2inch baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray
  2. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt onto a sheet of waxed paper.
  3. Ina small bowl , toss the chopped toffee with 1/2 teaspoon of the sifted mixture
  4. In a medium size mixing bowl , whisk the melted butter and melted chocolate until smooth.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until blended, about 15 seconds.
  6. Add the sugar and whisk until combined, about 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  7. Blend in vanilla and melted butter- chocolate mixture.
  8. Sift the flour mixture over and stir to form a batter, mixing thoroughly until all is blended well
  9. Stir in the chopped toffee and almonds
  10. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth top ……
  11. Bake at 325 f. for 33- 37 minutes or until set
  12. Let stand on a cooling rack in pan .until completely cooled
  13. Spoon and spread the topping randomly over the chocolate bar base
  14. After 1 minute sprinkle the almonds and toffee on toplet it stand for 1 hour before cutting
  15. Makes 2 dozen bars………
