The BEST Oatmeal Cookies Ever

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Soak raisins in hot water.
  3. And set aside.
  4. In large bowl, sift flour with soda, salt and spices.
  5. Blend in oats, sugar and nuts if using.
  6. In seperate bowl beat eggs with fork and add oil, vanilla and raisin water mixture.
  7. Pour into dry ingredients, stirring till well mixed.
  8. Drop by tsp 2 apart on ungreased sheet.
  9. Bake 10-13 minutes till golden brown.
