Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place butter in the freezer for 3 hours to freeze hard, then coarsely grate it. Stir flour and salt together in large bowl. Stir in grated butter and 13 Tablespoons of ice cold water and mix to a firm dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and leave to rest.
  2. Mix veggies and meat with seasonings.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Cut pastry into 4 and roll each out into an 8 circle. Cut round a plate to get the size. Brush edges with milk and then pile 1/4 of the filling into the center. Draw edges up to meet in the middle, seal and flute the seam of the pastry. Repeat with other 3.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and brush with milk. Make airholes in each with a skewer. Cook towards the top of the oven for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and cook for another 40 minutes, until crisp and golden.
  6. Serve warm.
