Sweet Carmelized Bananas

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar plus a pinch
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Peel and cut bananas in half lengthwise.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar, enough to lightly coat the bananas.
  3. Broil in oven until the sugar caramelizes.
  4. In saucepan, combine sugar with a little bit of water just enough to dissolve sugar, (very little) and place on stove till it becomes a syrup. Just before taking it off the stove, add the raisins.
  5. When the bananas come out of the oven, top with raisin mixture and serve hot.
