Summer Fruit Tart

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup whipped cream (whipped)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Stir flour and brown sugar in bowl. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly then knead until blended.
  3. Press mixture into a 10-inch tart dish.
  4. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Let it cool.
  6. Beat cream cheese until blended.
  7. Pour cream cheese mixture into crust. Chill until firm.
  8. Top with your favorite fruit.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
  10. Note; some fruits bleed their color so it is best to put the fruit on just before serving.
