Strawberry Spinach Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 (10 oz) package fresh spinach , torn
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp gluten-free worcestershire sacue
  • 1 tsp poppy seed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 dash paprika

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, cook and stir almonds and sugar over low heat until sugar is dissolved and almonds are coated. Spread on foil to cool; break apart.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries and almonds.
  3. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the dressing ingredients; shake well. Drizzle over salad; toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
