Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor.
  2. Cover and prcess until smooth.
  3. In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil.
  4. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly.
  6. Add to blender along with the lemon juice.
  7. Cover and process until combined.
  8. Pour into a shallow freezer container.
  9. Cover and freeze for for 4-6 hours or until almost frozen.
  10. Just before serving, whip mixture in a blender or food processor.
