Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.
  2. Cream together butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix flour, cream of tartar, salt, and baking soda in separate bowl.
  5. Blend together wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  6. Mix together cinnamon and the rest of the sugar in a shallow bowl.
  7. Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls, and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Place on greased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until firm and just starting to brown.
