Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Sift dry ingredients twice
  3. Add buttermilk and sour cream
  4. Form dough into balls and transfer to floured surgace
  5. Roll dough into 12 x7x1 inch oval and score top with fork
  6. Carefully transfer to ungreased baking sheet
  7. Bake till golden, about 30 minutes
  8. Cut in generous slices and serve warm
