Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine cornmeal and butter milk and let stand 10 minutes
  2. In skillet cook sausage till done and drain on paper
  3. Arrange 8 links spoke like in 9 inch deep dish, cut remaining sasauges in half and arrange between spokes.
  4. In another bowl combine remaining dry ingerdients.
  5. Cut in butter or margarine to coarse crumbs.
  6. Stir egg and vanilla in first cornmeal mixture and add to crumb mixture, stirrring to blend.
  7. Pour batter over sausages,
  8. Bake 400 35 to 40 minutes or tested done in center.
  9. Serve warm with syrup pour over pieces.
