Rich Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F Grease a 13x9x2 baking pan.
  2. Combine flour and brown sugar in a large bowl.Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add egg, mix well.Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips.
  4. Set aside 1 1/2 cups of the mixture.
  5. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour condensed milk evenly over hot crust.Top with 1 1/2 cups toffee bits and sprinkle reserved crumb mixture and remaining 1/2 cups chips over the top.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup toffee bits.
  9. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
