Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup amaretto
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine first four ingredients in large sauce pan, bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 40 minutes or till thick, stir often.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in salt and extract.
  4. Cool; pour into airtight containers.
