Pressed Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp hot water
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Cream the shortening; gradually add sugars.
  2. Then mix in other ingredients with spoon.
  3. Fill cookie press with dough.
  4. Place cookie dough on ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375°F 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove to wire rack to cool.
