Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spray 13 x 9 pan with Pam
  2. Slice French bread into 1-inch slices. Arrange 1 layer of slices flat in pan, overlapping the slices. Add 2nd layer of bread slices. If slices don't all fit, cut into pieces and use to fill gaps.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half-and-half, milk, sugar, rum, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and beat with a rotary beater or whisk until blended. Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture. Spoon some of the mixture in between the slices. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  4. The next day, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  5. Spread Praline Topping evenly over the bread and bake for 40 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden.
  6. Praline Topping:
  7. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well. Add to french toast just before baking.
