Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Peel pomegranates; carefully remove seeds, and press pulp through a food mill. Add sugar to pulp; stir until dissolved. Stir in water.
  2. Pour mixture into freezer can of a 1-gallon hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
  3. Note: Ice may be stored in freezer compartment of refrigerator until serving time. Let stand at room temperature 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
