Polish Kielbasa and Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) package polish kielbasa
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Slice the kielbasa into 1/2 inch pieces.
  2. Fry in a pan over medium heat until brown on both sides.
  3. Add rice and olive oil and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper.
  5. Turn heat to high and bring to a boil.
  6. Boil for 1 minute then reduce heat to simmer.
  7. Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes (NO PEEKING FOR PERFECT RICE!).
  8. Enjoy!
