Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tbsp sugar (50 ml)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/3 cup milk (300 ml)
  • 2 cups cake flour (500 ml)
  • 4 tsp baking powder (20 ml)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (2 ml)

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar together.
  2. Melt butter.
  3. Mix butter and 1/2 cup milk together.
  4. Stir into egg mixture.
  5. Sift dry ingredients.
  6. Stir or beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  7. Pour in the rest of the milk.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Heat up a heavy egg pan with a little bit of oil.
  10. Place tablespoons full of dough in the oil.
  11. Put this on medium heat.
  12. Wait until bubbles form on the cookie, then turn over.
  13. When you press the cookie and no dough is oozing out, you can take it out.
  14. Serve hot or cold.
  15. Serve with butter, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon sugar, cheese, jams or cream.
