Ingredients:

  • 7 cups flour- white or wheat
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 cups shortening

Directions:

  1. Combine flour and salt in large bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles course crumbs.
  3. Place into airtight container, up to one month in fridge.
  4. For one pie crust use 1 3/4 of pastry mix and 4-5 Tablespoons water
  5. Sprinkle water over mix and stir with fork until ball forms.
  6. Shape into disk cover with plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes.
  7. Roll out and use as desired.
