Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine flour and pecans.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients. The dough will be stiff.
  6. Pinch off walnut size pieces of dough and roll into small balls.
  7. Place the balls 1-1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Flatten the cookies with the back of a spoon dipped in flour.
  9. Back for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly colored.
  10. Transfer onto wire racks to cool.
