Pecan Pie  - More Pecans, Less Sugar!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 2 cups pecans

Directions:

  1. I like to use white light corn syrup.
  2. Pecans should be broken.
  3. Melt margarine.
  4. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT eggs. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes; then turn oven up to 350 degrees and bake an additional15-20 minutes.
  6. Cool completely before cutting (usually at least two hours).
  7. ENJOY!
