Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup peanuts

Directions:

  1. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. Cream together butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar in bowl with electric mixer at medium speed. Add egg and vanilla; beat thoroughly.
  3. Stire dry ingredients into creamed mixture, mixing well. cover and chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour.
  4. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. roll each ball in chopped peanuuts. Place balls, about 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. flatten with the bottom of a drinking glass.
  5. Bake in a 375°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
