Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel, slice and arrange peaches in a 6-cup baking dish (preferably an oval gratin dish), sprinkling with lemon juice as you go.
  2. Whip cream; spread all over peaches.
  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar by putting it through fine sieve.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Just before serving, broil about 4 below heat for about 2 minutes or until crispy golden on top.
