Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place 6 slices of bread on bottom of a well-greased 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Brown sausage and drain off grease.
  3. Layer bread with cheese then your choice of meat.
  4. Cube last 6 pieces of bread and place on top.
  5. Beat eggs; mix in milk and seasonings and pour over the bread.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. In the morning let it stand at room temperature for 1 hour before baking.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  9. Sprinkle with reserved cheese and return to oven for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  10. Cool 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
