Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream together the butter, sugar and eggs.
  2. Sift together the flour and soda, then add to the butter mixture.
  3. Add nuts and form into 2 rolls.
  4. Place into the freezer for several hours or over night.
  5. When ready to bake, take out roll and slice into 1/4 inch slices and place on your cookie sheets ready for baking.
  6. Bake in a 350 degF oven until down (try 5- 8 minutes per pan).
