Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter (may use margarine)
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp poppy seed

Directions:

  1. Separate onion slices into rings.
  2. Cook in butter till soft (DO NOT BROWN).
  3. While onions are sautéing, combine biscuit mix and milk as package directs.
  4. Spread mix in a 8x8x2 inch (greased) cake pan.
  5. When onions are done, spread over the biscuit mix.
  6. Make topping by beating egg and sour cream and salt together; spread over onions.
  7. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or till topping is set.
  9. Serve Hot.
