One-Rise Bread or Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Heat the milk until very warm. Add olive oil, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl.
  2. Wait for the yeast to become foamy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour and salt, and mix well.
  4. Use heavy-duty electric mixer to mix, about 8 minutes.
  5. Shape loaf and let rise about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat over to 375, bake about 20 minutes.
