Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a 5 qt pot add vegetable oil and chopped onion. Cook down until onion appears carmelized.
  2. Add water, chicken broth, pinch of salt and drumsticks. Bring to a boil.
  3. Lower heat, and simmer drumsticks for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Add potatoes and simmer for another 30 minutes.
  5. Add mixed vegetables, garlic and cook for another 30 minutes.
  6. Add cilantro at the end, and check for seasoning to taste.
