No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar and cocoa together well in a large frying pan (skillet). add margarine and milk cook on medium high heat, mixing well, allow mixture to come to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. (timing is very important if you want the cookies to turn out) after 3 minutes is done remove heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, and oatmeal mix well.
  2. Spoon cookies out onto a sheet of wax paper or saran wrap about 2 feet long. Let cool for 1 hour at room temperature.
