No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups oats, uncooked

Directions:

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat;add oats, peanut butter, and vanilla, stirring well.
  4. Drop dough by heaping teaspoons onto lightly greased wax paper.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Can be kept in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
