Ingredients:

  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple slices
  • 1 (17 oz) can yams, drained
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallow

Directions:

  1. Drain pineapple slices, reserving 1/2 c liquid.
  2. Line sides of baking dish with pineapple and put yams in the center.
  3. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts.
  4. Pour reserved pineapple liquid over yams. Sprinkle with flour mixture. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Top with marshmallows and then broil until lightly brown.
