Ingredients:

  • 2- tbsp onion powder
  • 4- cups potatoes (cut into medium pieces)
  • 2- small (8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce
  • 2- small (6 oz.) cans of tomato paste
  • 2- lbs. ground chuck
  • 2- tsp salt
  • 4- cups water

Directions:

  1. In a 5 qt. Dutch oven (or larger stock pot), brown ground beef then drain off grease.
  2. In the same pot, add back the ground beef and the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, onion powder and 4 cups of water.
  3. Heat to a simmer boil. (Using medium heat)
  4. Add the potatoes and cook covered on low-med for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until the potatoes are done (stirring occasionally).
