Mom's Tostada Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) can whole tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp oregano

Directions:

  1. Combine well in large bowl until tomatoes are in fine bits (I prefer to use my hands).
  2. Refrigerate 3-4 hours to allow flavors to mix.
  3. Pour over tostada and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
