Milk Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:

  1. Line 9 inch square or 13x9 inch pan with foil so that foil extends over sides of pan; butter foil.
  2. In large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add marshmallow creme and chocolate chips; blend until smooth.
  6. Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
  7. Pour into buttered, foil-lined pan.
  8. Cool to room temperature. Score fudge into 36 squares.
  9. Refrigerate until firm.
  10. Remove fudge from pan by lifting foil; remove foil from sides of fudge.
  11. Using large knife, cut through scored lines.
  12. Store in refrigerator.
