Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp maple extract

Directions:

  1. Place sugar and water in small saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Boil just for a couple of minutes, so that all sugar is dissolved and syrup is clear.
  4. Add Mapleine (extract) to taste (as dark as you want it).
  5. Store in refrigerator, covered.
  6. This recipe can be adapted to make any amount of syrup- Just always double your sugar to water, ie 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water.
