Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 36 pecan halves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, measure all but pecans. Mix on low until blended. Increase speed to medium, beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Drop by rounded teaspoons 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Gently press 1 pecan half on each. Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
  5. Slightly. Remove to wire rack. Store in tightly covered container for up to.
  6. 2 weeks. Makes 36 cookies.
