Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash lentils, drain and set aside.
  2. In a heavy skillet place the garlic, onions & pepper with a few spoonfuls of water & steam stir about 5 minutes, until slightly tender.
  3. Add the tomato juice, chili powder, cumin & herbs.
  4. Stir in the lentils.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer 45 to 50 minutes until lentils are tender.
