Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix margarine or butter, sugar, lemon peel, salt and egg in large bowl until well blended.
  2. Stir in flour and pecans.
  3. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  4. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Roll half of dough at a time about 1/8-inch thick on floured surface.
  6. Cut into 2-inch rounds.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are just barely brown.
  9. Remove from cookie sheet.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Put cookies together in pairs using rounded teaspoonful lemon curd for filling.
  12. Prepare Lemon Glaze and brush on tops of cookies.
