Ingredients:

  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon , zest of
  • 1 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. Mix cornstarch with a little water for thickening agent.
  2. Boil water and sugar 5 minutes, add cornstarch mixture.
  3. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, add lemon, zest and butter.
  4. Stir until butter melts.
  5. Serve at once.
