Kentucky Mint Julep Brownies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350, F.
  2. Grease bottom of 13x9 inch pan.
  3. In large bowl, combine brownie mix, water oil and egg.
  4. Beat 50 strokes by hand.
  5. Stir in 1/2 c mint chocolate chips and 1/2 c pecans.
  6. Spread batter in greased pan.
  7. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until center is set.
  8. Drizzle 2-3 T bourbon over hot brownies.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. In small bowl, beat all filling ingredients until smooth, adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency.
  11. Spread over cooled brownies.
  12. In small saucepan over low heat, melt 1 c mint chocolate chips and 1/4 c margarine, stirring constantly until smooth.
  13. Remove from heat;
  14. Stir in 1 t bourbon.
  15. Cool slightly.
  16. Carefully spoon glaze over filling.
  17. Spread to cover.
  18. Garnish with pecan halves and mint leaves.
  19. Store in refrigerator.
