Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Puree the whole tomatoes in a blender and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter over medium heat and saute garlic and onions until translucent, about 6 minutes or so.
  3. Add the oregano and red pepper flakes and stir.
  4. Next add all the tomato products, sugar, basil, salt, fresh ground pepper, stock and water. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Turn heat to low and cover and simmer for one hour.
